Response and default
The 3155 returns INT, EXT, or TCXO depending on the present 3155 setting. Default value is INT.
SWEep:STOP<stop_sclk>
Purpose
This command sets the stop sample clock frequency. When set to operate in sweep mode, the 3155 sweeps
from the carrier sample clock frequency to the sweep stop sample clock frequency.
• <stop_sclk> set the sweep stop sample clock frequency for the sweep mode

<stop_sclk> 100e-3 to 100e6 in units of samples per second
SWEep:STOP?
Response and default
The 3155 returns the present sweep stop sample clock frequency value. The returned value is in standard
scientific format (for example: 1KHz would be returned as 1E3 – positive numbers are unsigned). Default
value is 20e6.
SWEep:TIME<time>
Purpose
This command sets the time it takes for the sample clock frequency to sweep from the carrier to the stop fre-
quency. This parameter affects the 3155 only when the instrument is set to operate in sweep mode.
• <time> sets the sweep time

SWEep:TIME?
Response and default
The 3155 returns the present sweep time value. The returned value is in standard scientific format (for ex-
ample: 10ms would be returned as 10E-3 – positive numbers are unsigned). Default value is 1e-3.
SWEep:DIRection{UP|DOWN}
Purpose
This command sets the sweep direction to up or down.
• <UP> selects an up direction. The sample clock sweeps from the start frequency set by the sclk parame-
ter to the stop frequency set by the stop sclk parameter
• <DOWN> selects the down direction. The sample clock sweeps from the stop frequency set by the stop
sclk parameter to the start frequency set by the sclk parameter
