TRIGger:SLOPe{POSitive|NEGative}
Purpose
This command sets the edge sensitivity of the trigger input.
• <POSitive> selects positive edge sensitivity
• <NEGative> selects negative edge sensitivity

Response and default
The 3155 returns POS, or NEG depending on the present trigger setting. Default value is POS.
TRIGger:SOURce:ADVance{EXTernal|INTernal|TTLTrig<N>|STAR}
Purpose
This command sets the advance source for triggered mode. The backplane on the PXI chassis has some
signals on the P2 connector that allow inter-instrument communication and synchronization. Among these
lines, there are some trigger lines, a STAR trigger, and local bus lines. There are 8 trigger lines that can
serve as source or target. Normally, these lines are designated as tri-state lines. The TRIG:SOUR:TTLT<N>
command converts one of these lines to the 3155’s trigger input. <N> can range from 0 through 7. But only
one line can be selected as an advance source.
• <EXTernal> selects the external input
• <INTernal > selects the internal trigger generator (frequency set using the TRIG:TIM command)
• <N> is selected from 0 through 7
• <STAR> selects the STAR trigger module. Select this option only if you have a STAR compatible con-
troller in your system

The 3155 returns EXT, INT, TTLT<N>, or STAR depending on the present trigger advance source setting.
Default value is EXT.
TRIGger:TIMer<interval>
Purpose
This command sets the period for the internal trigger generator.
• <interval> sets the timer of the internal trigger generator
