Using WaveCAD 6.x, change the axis (Setup | Axis) to have
4000 points (0 to 3999) for the first 4 steps below and 1000
points (0 to 999) for step 5 below. Download a 1k or 4k sine
waveform (Wave | Sine | OK) into segment 1.

4. Tune the spectrum analyzer to the carrier frequency and
adjust the gain so the fundamental corresponds to 0 dB.
5. Connect the Model 3155 output to spectrum analyzer
input through a 20dB feedthrough attenuator.
6. Set the Model 3155 FREQ setting and verify the har-
monic distortions levels as follows:

1.000 MHz < -55 dBc
5.000 MHz < -40 dBc
50.00 MHz < -25 dBc

Equipment: Oscilloscope
1. Configure the Model 3155 as follows:
Function: Sine wave
Frequency: 1.000 kHz
Remote Commands: :RES
:OUTP ON
:FREQ 10e3
2. Connect the Model 3155 Sine Output to the oscillo-
scope, set the oscilloscope input impedance to 50O, and
set the oscilloscope to display the sinewave within ex-
actly 10 vertical divisions.
